I describe myself as… A provider that focuses on compassionate care, clinical expertise, and thoughtful therapeutic presence. I create a safe, collaborative space where clients feel heard, respected, and empowered in their mental health journey.
Why I work with healthcare professionals:
My background as a psychiatric nurse practitioner has given me the privilege of working closely with a wide range of healthcare professionals across diverse medical settings—from fast-paced hospitals to intimate private practices. I understand the emotional and physical toll this work can take, as well as the passion and commitment it demands.
Over the years, I’ve seen how burnout, compassion fatigue, and systemic pressures affect even the most resilient providers. That’s why I’ve dedicated myself to supporting healthcare professionals through coaching and therapeutic support. I believe that when caregivers are supported, empowered, and emotionally well, they are better able to serve their patients and find fulfillment in their own lives.
This work matters deeply to me because I’ve been there. I know what it feels like to juggle clinical responsibilities, high expectations, and personal well-being. Helping others in this field reconnect with their purpose, reduce stress, and create sustainable careers is both a calling and a privilege.
I’m passionate about… working with clients who want to get better, and also colleagues who care about their clients.
You might like working with me if…
My therapeutic approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in respect for each person’s unique journey. I integrate evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness-based techniques, and psychodynamic principles, tailored to meet your specific needs and goals. I also speak Mandarin fluently.
I view therapy as a co-created space—a place where you can feel heard without judgment, explore your inner world, and develop tools for lasting change. Whether you're navigating burnout, anxiety, relationship challenges, or identity shifts, I work to create a safe and empowering environment where growth is possible.
Clients have described working with me as both grounding and forward-moving: we honor where you are while gently pushing toward where you want to be. My hope is that our work together feels supportive, insightful, and practical—because healing is not just about understanding the past, but also about creating a more meaningful present.
When not working… You can find me with my family and my pets. I also love computers. Currently, I am attending Johns Hopkins Whiting School of Engineering for my Masters in Computer Science.

Oluwaseyi ``Seyi`` Adeyinka, MD, MPH
I describe myself as… warm, thoughtful, and curious. I bring both clinical expertise and creativity to my work, and I value helping people feel more at home in themselves.
Why I work with healthcare professionals: Having trained and worked in demanding medical environments, I've seen how easily healthcare professionals give endlessly to others while struggling to care for themselves. I know the culture of medicine, its challenges, and its hidden costs—and I believe supporting the mental health of those who care for others is essential.
I'm passionate about… helping high-achieving professionals navigate burnout, anxiety, depression, and identity transitions. I'm especially interested in integrative approaches that blend psychotherapy, medication management, mindfulness, and creative expression. I also bring experience in psychedelic integration and working with POC and LGBTQ clinicians.
You might like working with me if… you're looking for a collaborative, reflective, and compassionate approach. I draw on psychodynamic therapy, trauma-informed care, and mindfulness to help uncover deeper patterns while also offering practical tools for resilience and growth.
When not working… you'll often find me working with textiles—quilting, weaving, dyeing fabric, or knitting—as ways to slow down and recharge. I also love exploring new art spaces, spending time in nature, and enjoying the rhythms of life in New York City.

Tarek Adam, MD
I describe myself as… warm, calm, thoughtful, and supportive. I believe in creating a space where patients feel comfortable exploring themselves at their own pace, whether that means focusing on immediate relief or engaging in deeper reflection and growth.
Why I work with healthcare professionals: Having trained and worked in major academic and hospital settings, including NewYork-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell (Payne Whitney Clinic), NYU, and Bellevue Hospital, I've seen firsthand the intensity and pressures of medical culture. My work in emergency psychiatry and consultation-liaison settings across these institutions, and now at Contra Costa Regional Medical Center, has shown me how demanding clinical work can be and how often clinicians set their own well-being aside. These experiences inform my commitment to supporting healthcare professionals in restoring balance and purpose.
I'm passionate about… supporting adults navigating depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, ADHD, burnout, and life transitions. I take a holistic approach, integrating therapy and carefully tailored medication to create treatment plans that feel both effective and sustainable.
You might like working with me if… you appreciate a collaborative, grounded approach that combines evidence-based care with curiosity about your unique story and goals. I aim to understand the person behind the symptoms and to work together toward clarity, stability, and growth.
When not working… I enjoy traveling, exploring restaurants around the world, and listening to The Economist podcasts.
